After having resumed production following WW2, Zagato took the Isotta Fraschini D65 forward-steering cabin into production, a concept that was first presented by Zagato in Italy in 1937 at the Palazzo dello Sport in Milano.
The forward-steering principle puts the cabin directly over the engine, thus creating more loading space.
The D65 was later superceded by the slightly modified D65M.
