This is my stunning Alfa Zagato Junior 1600 with apt Reg No JAZ7817 (Junior Alfa Zagato!)
No 365 of the 400 ever made, probably less than 10 in the U.K.
It has only covered 46000 miles in 34 years and is in original and excellent condition, with none of the corrosion normally associated with hand built Italian machinery.
This is due to its meticulous care and the fact that it has also been extensively Waxoyl'ed (anti-corrosion treatment) - certificated....
Everything is original including the seats, carpets, unique electric rear hatch incorporating the extremely rare optional exstra of a heated rear screen, plus the beautiful wood rimmed steering wheel.
It is not concours but a comparitively small amount of work would bring it to that standard. Great to drive - engine and gearbox a delight, nicely balanced
A useable headturning classic that can only appreciate in value.

It is in very good condition, but my plan over the next 2/3 years is to bring it up to first class/concourse, although it probably won't stay white.

Very reluctant sale of my magnificent JZ 1600, one of 402 ever built and much rarer (and better looking) than the 1300. This is no 365, so late in the series, first imported to UK in 1985 from Italy and good history file since then.

Car has only covered 46,000 km from new and is in superb order throughout, having undergone a restoration in 2012 courtesy of the legendary Mike Spenceley (but all panels original). She was then recommissioned at a cost of £8,000 by Bianco Auto Developments using Alfaholics fast road camshafts and other parts.

Matching numbers car with or original 1600 engine (much sweeter than 2000). Interior v good with racing harness and fire extinguisher, original working 8 track stereo and rare electric lifting tailgate. In professional storage since 2013 and little used, part of a private collection.
